ohh, dear old xanga. wow, i havent updated in this thing in forever.

well anyways, end of middle school. that wasnt as bad as i thought. with the carwash, and frogbridge and ish and ish. and then theres graduation. graduation was ... emotional? haha. i dont really know the right word for it, so yeah; emotional it is. altho surprisingly, i didnt cry as much as i did the previous year when the now-sophmores left. come to think of it, i barely cried at all. well yeah, after graduation was the after party. it would've been a good party, without my weird moodswings and the icky drama. but hey, what do you expect at a party with 30 something teenagers? whatever tho, its all good now. so yeah.
sweeeet summer. hanging with kids and ish as usual. freshman orientation was boring. then band started. thats pretty much how my summer went. hung with kids, then band. the occasional party or two. but yeah. except that i had an "august birthday bash" for me jenn, kevin & chris. other wise, thats was my summer. oh and a week before school started .. band camp. hahaha, band camp. it was brutal. like seriously, standing there for like 7+ hours straight in the burning sun. yeah, we had a water break every now and then and of course we ate breakfast, lunch and dinner but, still! jeez, i got soo freaking dark from that. andd, my feet were whiter [and still are] than my legs and i had a freaking neckstrap tan that lasted at least 2 months after we got back from band camp. well yeah, the work hell, but the free time was maad fun. being the only girl, out of my friends [at the time] who joined band, i hung out with all guys. ha go mee c[x. anyways, yeah. it was the group.. or posse whatever. same thing. me, charlie, phil, chris, brian and blaze. the posse.. group.. whatever. haha. yeah blaze was one of the many .. uh new friends i have now thanks to band. haa yeaaah, he was my best friend. haaaa. yeah. after we got back from band camp, the posse went to red robin's. real food never tasted so good! lmao. =D
okay. high school! honestly, not as bad as i thought it was gonna be. all those stupid movies about high school and ish make you think, "omg, high school! help!" when in reality, its really nothing like that. the upperclassmen dont do any of the ish they supposedly do cuz of what movies make people believe. they're really nice actually haha. and thanks to band, half of my uh "new friends" are upperclassmen. they're prettty cool. well yeah, school is school. work is work. and for the first like 2 months of school, i had no life. cuz i had band pretty much every day. and then football games on fridays. and competitions on saturdays. blaah. if you join band, you've gotta accept that band will be nothing less than your life. marching band, is now officially over and has been since this past saturday. now its all about concert band and ish. come to think of it, the concert is like sometime in the next few weeks or something. all the lil frosh had to go get their gowns/tuxes today. the gowns are digustingly gross looking. no lie. yuuuck. i'm not looking forward to wearing that, at allll. ]x
life right now, overall, is pretty good. not exactly picture perfect. but when is life ever picture perfect? life is life. things happen for a reason. whether they be good or they be bad. you just have to overcome whatever came from what happened, and try to learn from it. know that you'll learn who your true friends are, and you'll figure out who you're better off without. oh and people will talk and make up ish, but you've gotta learn to ignore it. it may suck, but that's just how it is, and you've gotta learn to live with it.. no matter how much you dont want to.
